Dark Magic is one of three class skill lines available to Sorcerer characters. Skills in this line focus on stuns and utility spells.

Skill Perks

Dark Magic has an associated skill line that is revealed through leveling up your character, whilst using that class. Known abilities are listed below.

Notes
  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 4, wherein each additional level increases the Magicka/Stamina Cost by 10% of this value. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 1000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 0. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Create a globe of magic suppression, stunning enemies within and dispelling enemy placed effects for [9.5 / 9.65 / 9.8 / 10] seconds. Allies within the globe's radius will receive Minor Protection, reducing damage received by 8%. Also grants Minor Erosion which increases Spell Penetration by 37. Enemy players will be silenced rather than stunned.

Absorption Field Grants Movement Speed, and resource regeneration

Create a globe of magic suppression, stunning enemies within and dispelling enemy placed effects for [9.5 / 9.65 / 9.8 / 10] seconds. Allies entering the area receive Major Expedition, Fortitude, Intellect, and Endurance, increasing Magicka, Stamina, and Health Regeneration as well as Movement Speed by 20% for 12 seconds. Enemy players will be silenced rather than stunned.

Conjure dark crystals to bombard an enemy, dealing [151 / 153 / 156 / 158] Magic Damage and knocking them down for 2 seconds. Casting other spells has a 35% chance of causing your next Crystal Fragments to be instant, doing 20% more damage, and costing 50% less Magicka.

Imprison an enemy in a sphere of dark magic for [15.1 / 15.6 / 16.1 / 16.6] seconds. The effect ends if the enemy takes damage.

Imprison an enemy in a sphere of dark magic for [16.6 / 17.1 / 17.6 / 18.1] seconds. Damage over time does not end the effect, but any other damage does.

Duration: 60 seconds
Place a rune of protection on yourself for [60 / 80 / 100 / 120] seconds. The next enemy to attack you is imprisoned in a sphere of dark magic for 16.6 seconds. The effect ends if the enemy takes damage.
