Online:Soul Magic
Soul Magic is a skill line available to all players. You cannot access any of its abilities at the start of the game, but it becomes available in the course of the Main Quest. Soul Magic abilities center around acquiring and using souls from enemy creatures.

- The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 4, wherein each additional level increases the Magicka/Stamina Cost by 10% of this value. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 1000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 0. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Notes
Unlike most skill lines, soul magic's skill line level is only advanced by completing quests in the main storyline, not from ordinary experience. A new level is unlocked by the quests which become available at multiples of 10, so completing the tutorial grants skill line level 1, completing the quest unlocked at level 10 unlocks skill line level 2, level 20 quest unlocks line rank 3, and so on through level 50. Also, even though the skill line cannot be leveled up through ordinary experience, the ability Soul Trap can be.
The Consuming Trap ability will still restore your attributes even if you cannot trap the affected enemy's soul due to a lack of soul gems.
