Iron Hide is a crafting material obtained by hunting rank 4–6 animals in the last two Cadwell's Silver zones, as well as in the first Cadwell's Gold zone and on the Veteran starter islands. One animal may yield one to two pieces of the raw material, Iron Hide Scraps. Once ten scraps are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Iron Hide. Refined iron hide is used for making medium ironhide armor at any of the clothing stations. For you to be able to create ironhide armor your Tailoring ability needs to be rank 7.
