Topgrain Hide is a crafting material obtained by hunting rank 1–3 animals in the first three Cadwell's Silver zones, as well as on the Veteran starter islands. One animal may yield one to two pieces of the raw material, Topgrain Hide Scraps. Once ten scraps are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten pieces of the processed material, Topgrain Hide. Refined topgrain hide is used for making medium brigandine armor at any of the clothing stations. For you to be able to create brigandine armor your Tailoring ability needs to be rank 6.
