Detailed Walkthrough

Quest Offer

Once you turned into a vampire you may get a letter from a pale, fierce-eyed boy saying:

(building)
(town)
Dear (player's name),
(vampire bloodline) need you. Come immediately.
Yours in Death,
(first vampire NPC)

Quest Object

After you have read the letter meet the vampire NPC, who wrote the letter, in the town he/she mentioned. He/She will tell you that a mage has attacked him/her recently and he/she must seek out another vampire NPC with whom he/she will speak about this matter. The vampire NPC asks you to accompany him/her on the journey and both of you must reach this second vampire NPC before the quest's time limit has expired. Travel to the town this second vampire NPC is staying together with the vampire NPC you shall protect. As soon as you have spoken with the first vampire NPC, a contingent of mages may show up to attack you both, but as soon as you injure one of these mages, no further mages will appear. If you engage one of these mages, he/she will shout:

A bloodsucker with some sting left. This ought to make things more interesting!

And if you kill the mage, the vampire NPC, who is traveling with you, will congratulate your for this kill. Resume you journey to the town the second vampire NPC is staying and meet him/her. Once both vampire NPCs meet each other, you have completed your task, but you won't get any reward.

Quest End

When you bring the first vampire NPC to the second vampire NPC in time, the second vampire NPC will say:

It is not an easy thing for one of our kind to travel. With the added encumberance of (first vampire NPC), I can only imagine your tribulation. Add to it the terror of that venomous (mage's name), and I can see why (vampire bloodline) speak so highly of you, good (player's first name).
