Online:Transport

There are a number of different transportation and travel services that can be used to get across Tamriel in Elder Scrolls Online.

Wayshrines

Wayshrines provide access to the fast travel network in the game, and you can travel for free from any wayshrine to any other one that you have previously discovered. You can also teleport from anywhere in the wilderness to a wayshrine you have discovered for a small fee.

Transitus Shrines

The Transitus Network provide a similar service to wayshrines in the contested region of Cyrodiil, the main difference being that you can only travel to shrines held within keeps that your alliance controls, and only then if those keeps are connected by the network to your current location.

Boatswains

Boatswains can be found at some harbors, and can be hired to take you to other locations within an alliance's territory. You may be required to pay a fee if you are attempting to travel outside of your current story zone^{[verification needed]}, but once you have entered a new zone as part of the story, passage to a previous zone is free. Most boatswains are always available, while a certain few will only be present during their related quests.

Aldmeri Dominion

• Sugar-Claws can take you between Vulkhel Guard (Auridon) and Eagle's Strand (Khenarthi's Roost).
• Scout Linimondil can take you between Skywatch (Auridon) and Haven (Grahtwood).

Daggerfall Covenant

• Gilzir can take you between Daggerfall (Glenumbra), Port Hunding (Stros M'Kai), and Stonetooth Fortress (Betnikh).
• Zihlijdel can take you from Wayrest (Stormhaven) to Sentinel (Alik'r), while Captain Carlier will take you back.

Ebonheart Pact

• The Boatmaster can take you between Mournhold and Shad Astula in Deshaan.
• Liezl can take you between Davon's Watch (Stonefalls) and Bleakrock Village (Bleakrock Isle).
• Muz-Muz can take you between Alten Corimont (Shadowfen) and Windhelm (Eastmarch).

Carts

Self-driven carts can occasionally be found. Activate the cart to be taken to your destination.

• Between Belkarth (Craglorn) and Elden Root (Grahtwood), Wayrest (Stormhaven), or Mournhold (Deshaan).
