Online:Boatswains

Boatswains can be found at some harbors, and can be hired to take you to other locations within an alliance's territory. You may be required to pay a fee if you are attempting to travel outside of your current story zone^{[verification needed]}, but once you have entered a new zone as part of the story, passage to a previous zone is free. Most boatswains are always available, while a certain few will only be present during their related quests.

Aldmeri Dominion

• Sugar-Claws can take you between Vulkhel Guard (Auridon) and Eagle's Strand (Khenarthi's Roost).
• Scout Linimondil can take you between Skywatch (Auridon) and Haven (Grahtwood).

Daggerfall Covenant

• Gilzir can take you between Daggerfall (Glenumbra), Port Hunding (Stros M'Kai), and Stonetooth Fortress (Betnikh).
• Zihlijdel can take you from Wayrest (Stormhaven) to Sentinel (Alik'r), while Captain Carlier will take you back.

Ebonheart Pact

• The Boatmaster can take you between Mournhold and Shad Astula in Deshaan.
• Liezl can take you between Davon's Watch (Stonefalls) and Bleakrock Village (Bleakrock Isle).
• Muz-Muz can take you between Alten Corimont (Shadowfen) and Windhelm (Eastmarch).
