Style Materials are secondary materials required when crafting armor and weapons. The type of material used will determine the style of the equipment you create, although your character must first know how to craft in that style. All style materials have a chance of dropping when you deconstruct an item with that style.

Adamantite

Adamantite is used for crafting in the Altmer style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Argentum

Argentum is used for crafting in the Primal style. It can be found in containers in Cadwell's Silver zones.

Bone

Bone is used for crafting in the Bosmer style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Cassiterite

Cassiterite is used for crafting in the Ancient Orc style. It must first be refined from ten pieces of Cassiterite Sand, which can be found when harvesting nodes in Wrothgar. A complete piece can also be found by completing random normal or veteran dungeons using the group finder.

Charcoal of Remorse

Charcoal of Remorse is used for crafting in the Xivkyn style. It can be purchased from Tel Var General Merchants in the Imperial City. Charcoal of Remorse can also be found by completing random Normal or Veteran dungeons using the group finder.

Copper

Copper is used for crafting in the Barbaric style. It can be found in containers in Cadwell's Silver zones.

Corundum

Corundum is used for crafting in the Nord style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Daedra Heart

Daedra Hearts are used for crafting in the Daedric style. They can be found in containers in Cadwell's Gold zones.

Dwemer Frame

Dwemer Frames are used for crafting in the Dwemer style. A frame must first be refined from ten pieces of Dwemer Scrap, which can be found in containers in Dwemer Ruins and have a chance to drop off Dwemer Animunculi enemies. Scrap can also be received by completing random Normal or Veteran dungeons using the group finder.

Flint

Flint is used for crafting in the Argonian style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including oldharbour).

Goldscale

Goldscale is used for crafting in the Akaviri style. It must first be refined from ten Ancient Scales, which can be purchased from Siege Merchants in Cyrodiil. A complete piece can also be found by completing random normal or veteran dungeons using the group finder. Once refined, the Goldscale would originally become bound and could no longer be traded, although this has been changed.

Laurel

Laurels are used for crafting in the Mercenary style. Once your character learns at least one chapter of the Mercenary motif, Laurels will begin dropping from the final bosses of Group Dungeons. For Veteran dungeons, this chance starts at 50% and increases to a guaranteed 100% once all chapters have been learned. The chance for Normal mode bosses is one quarter of that. Laurels can also be found by completing random Normal or Veteran dungeons using the group finder. It was originally impossible to trade Laurels, as they would bind to your account upon pickup.

Malachite is used for crafting in the Glass style. A piece of Malachite must first be refined from ten Malachite Shards, which can be found in locked treasure chests or by completing random normal or veteran dungeons using the group finder. Chests found by using treasure maps have a higher chance to contain a shard. Once refined, the Malachite would originally become bound and could no longer be traded, although this has been changed. It could previously be bought from the Crown Store.

Manganese

Manganese is used for crafting in the Orc style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Molybdenum

Molybdenum is used for crafting in the Breton style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Moonstone

Moonstone is used for crafting in the Khajiit style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Nickel

Nickel is used for crafting in the Imperial style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Obsidian

Obsidian is used for crafting in the Dunmer style. It can be found in containers in the level Normal1 to Normal50 zones (those that comprise your starter Alliance, including Coldharbour).

Palladium

Starmetal
