Dawnbreaker of Smiting: Arm yourself with Meridia's sacred sword and dispense her retribution, dealing [161 / 162 / 164 / 165] Magic Damage to enemies in front of you and an additional 240 Magic Damage over 4 seconds. Deals 60% additional damage to Daedra and undead and knocks them down for [4 / 4.333 / 4.666 / 5] seconds.
Flawless Dawnbreaker: Arm yourself with Meridia's sacred sword and dispense her retribution, dealing [139 / 142 / 144 / 146] Magic Damage to enemies in front of you and an additional 212 Magic Damage over 4 seconds. Damage against Daedra and undead is increased by 60%. While slotted, your weapon damage is increased by [5 / 6 / 7 / 8]%.

Dawnbreaker is the Fighters Guild ultimate ability, unlocked at the final rank of the skill line. Activating it causes instant AoE damage in front of the player. Despite the skill's relatively low damage, the small Ultimate cost allows for it to be used frequently. Like most Fighters Guild skills, it is particularly effective against Daedra and undead, and can also be used against werewolves with the Skilled Tracker passive unlocked.

The Dawnbreaker of Smiting morph increases the skill's damage, and also knocks down any of the above enemy types that get caught in the blast. However, the real value of this skill lies in the Flawless Dawnbreaker morph, which provides a passive buff to weapon damage while slotted. This is particularly useful to stamina-based DD builds.
