This is a complete list of the diseases you can catch in Tamriel Rebuilt. See also the list of diseases that can be caught in Morrowind.
They can all be cured with the Cure Common Disease effect, or you can protect yourself with the Resist Common Disease or Resist Magicka effects. Some races are naturally resistant to diseases. Altmer, Argonians, Bosmer and Redguards each have 75% resistance.

Rats are often infected, too. Its symptoms are painful swelling in the trachea, and a heavy, bloody cough. It also saps your endurance. |

Its symptoms are of course fever, but also muscle pains and the queasy feeling your bones are brittle like a scrib's shell, and will break if your moves are too vigorous. For this reason, those suffering from this disease will unconsciously refrain from using their whole strength. |

Legend pretends it was created during the Second Era by a Telvanni wizard to cripple a rival, but all I know is that it may be contracted from eyestars. |
