The Magister Curinure has asked I speak with him about the Mages Guild in the Vulkhel Guard guildhall.

2. Talk to Curinure.
3. Join the Mages Guild.

Detailed Walkthrough

You can obtain this quest by speaking to Curinure in the Mages Guild. The extent of the quest is simply asking any questions you may desire, then accepting the offer to join the Guild. Once you have done so, you will become an Adept and gain access to the Guild skill line. Curinure will then direct you to Valaste for your first actual mission.
