Rogkuroth gro-Burdok, an Orc warrior, is Polle Gold Mine's foreman and Therander Polle's nominal second in command. In reality, he resents the mine owner for his cruelty towards his employees and has joined their plight. If you choose to take up their cause as well, he will play a major role in the main questline.
He wears a near complete set of iron armor; a cuirass, gauntlets, greaves and a pair of boots. In combat he relies on an iron claymore.
The first time you meet him, gro-Burdok tells you, "Rogkuroth gro-Budok. I oversee the goldmine for Therander Polle, not the kindest man in the world. My sister's the smith at the fort, she gets all the luck."

"We should go investigate the Ancient Door you found." "You found an ancient door in the lower mine shaft of the gold mine...? ...interesting. I will send some men to clear the rubble from the door. I will not tell Polle of this news. He... will not be so... happy. He will not be too pleased by uninvited attention to his gold mine. In the mean time, I have something I need you to take care of for me. It has to do with Father Ambrogio. Father Ambrogio gives us much needed supplies, such as medicine and food in exchange for small amount of gold he uses to sustain his chapel, via a tunnel that was mined a few years ago. Polle knows nothing of this, and would be furious if he were to discover the tunnel. For the past few days he has not been showing up at our meeting spot. I fear something awful might have happened to him. Please take this key and travel through the tunnel and check on the Father. Polle would have me killed if he were to find me out of the mine."
"The upper shaft? I don't normally go very deep into the mine, so I'm afraid I don't really know what you're talking about."
"No! Polle must have done this, and I'm going to prove it! Give me that key back and try to keep up!"
"You say Polle knew of his help he was providing the miners? This is not good. Hopefully the Father will be able to deal with Polle on his end. However, I fear that the miners will not be able deal with him on their own. I must analyze this situation. I am the mine foreman after all. Polle already knows about the help the Father was providing, and most undoubtedly knows about you by now. We must contain this situation from getting any worse. We need to tie up all loose ends. To start we need to investigate that Ancient Door you found. I will meet you there, let's go."
"The Father said everything is Nine? This is not good. Nine is our code word for trouble. The Nine haven't been good to us, though the Father remains reverent. Return to the Father, and tell him 'Dead are the Nine.' No one would ever say this to a priest but the Father will know he can trust you, and that I sent you and understand."
"Now that you mention it, I do think I have some potions. I always keep a few on hand for when Marks is lighting lanterns or resting near the bonfire. He's clumsy. VERY clumsy. Anyway, this should be more than enough."
"Looks like we can't go this way! Quick, to the front door!"
"We're too late! There's nothing left. It looks like Polle is going to get away with it. Damn!"
"Can you believe it? They gave me Polle's house! Most of the miners have left Cyrodiil altogether. Winston would be the exception; he's studying to become a priest in Skingrad. He wants to fill the vacancy left by Father Ambrogio. He's a good kid, but Father Ambrogio was irreplaceable. I don't care how good you are."
"The door is blocked? The only solution I could think of that it is somehow connected to the other part of the ruins. If that is true, the two brothers should probably know more about the connection."
"I had some of the miners do a bit more digging around that strange door. I thought you may be interested to know that they found another one. Come with me; I'll show you."
"Let's discuss our plan to deal with the mine's troubles."
"This situation has gotten out of control. We must make a plan. Meet me at the bonfire, we will discuss what to do next there."
"I don't know a whole lot about picking locks. It's not something I come across much."
"Dealing with Polle at this point is impossible. I have kept so much from him that trying to explain it all would be fruitless. We must enlist the help of a third party. There is a historian on the island named Alenion Eulius. He is currently researching the history of Stirk, so he might know about what we are dealing with here. Search him out, and find out what he knows. But don't be too specific on what we found. We can't draw too much attention to the mine, and what lies beneath it."
