After picking up Edrien's pipe during this quest, Edrien's ghost will appear and say: "Come, mortal. Do a favor for this poor weary spirit." Explain that you need to get the pipe to his daughter, and he'll respond: "My daughter is lost to her grief. How could she send you here, to a haunt of vile cultists, to retrieve a pipe? Sheer folly. She should have something of real value, something that will allow her to move on." Ask for a suggestion: "For years, I've been hiding gold under a tree southwest of the lighthouse. Dig it up and give it to my daughter. Then she needs to go to my brother in Crosswych. There she can start anew." Then he disappears.
