Stirk |
Basilla Lighthouse is a lighthouse found on the western coast of Stirk, overlooking the dock area. It is located to the east of the Residential District, close to the ship named The Magnificent.
The lighthouse is the only building in the dock area and is home to the keeper, Iallus, and his daughter, Julia. Being so close to the port means that you will pick up a good deal of news here, as well as a quest or two.
During the Julia Basilla's Bruises quest you will learn about the hidden story of what happens behind the walls of the lighthouse.
Outside the Lighthouse you will find Alden the Wanderer's bedroll and, if you've rented it, also yours. Two doors lead inside: the front door, which unlocked, and a side door next to the bedrolls, which has a hard lock. Both doors open into the entry hall, with a writing and dining area. Entering this part of the lighthouse isn't considered trespassing but accessing the next rooms is. There is little of value here, with the most notable item being a fine steel longsword.
A door leads into the back of the lighthouse where you'll find some storage, two Garlic clusters and a long, winding flight of stairs that brings you to the top of the lighthouse. From here, you can admire Strik from above and also light the lamp, which contains some firewood and a broken chest and chair. Unlike its Anvil counterpart, once it is lit, it cannot be put out. Another door opens to reveal a small room with a trapdoor which takes you to the private quarters, where you will find Iallus and Julia. They both have separate bedroom areas on the sides, while in the middle is a table with two potions - a potion of Cure Disease and a weak potion of Intelligence. A copper amulet, along with the only existing copy of On The Move can be also found here. The small box nearby contains some spare change, a gold or silver nugget (50% chance) and a leveled piece of random jewelry (also 50% chance).
Notes
- Initially the second door and the trapdoor to the private quarters are both locked; once the related quest is active they will both be unlocked and will remain open.
