Detailed Walkthrough

The Erabenimsun Camp

If you haven't found out the location of the Erabenimsun Camp yet, return to the Urshilaku Camp and find out from the Ashlanders. The camp is located a little southwest of the village of Tel Fyr, near Tel Aruhn. The quickest way would be to grab a boat to Tel Aruhn or a Guild Guide to Wolverine Hall (Sadrith Mora) and then head southwest to the camp.

Internal Disagreement

When you reach the camp, trying to talk to either resident of the Ashkhan's yurt gets a brief response and a disposition drop if you mention the Nerevarine or the prophecies. Go and have a word with the Wise Woman, Manirai, in her yurt. Make sure you ask her about Nerevarine prophecies. She explains that Ulath-Pal and his allies hate all outlanders and will never agree to call you Nerevarine. She suggests a simple course of action.

Kill Ulath-Pal and Supporters

In order to be named Nerevarine of the Erabenimsun, you must first kill Ulath-Pal and his supporters, Ahaz, Ranabi, and Ashu-Ahhe. All four are in the camp, Ranabi is alone in his Yurt and can be easily taken down if you hit him hard and fast to prevent him from casting spells. He has some handy magic items that you may wish to take. Ashu-Ahhe, next door in his Yurt, takes many more hits, and deals out a good amount, before he goes down. Ulath-Pal and Ahaz are in the Ashkan's Yurt together, and are the toughest to take out. Ahaz might be the easiest to take out, but both Ahaz and Ulath-Pal cast spells and hit pretty hard.

Persuading Gulakhan Han-Ammu

Once all four are taken care of, visit Manirai again. Now that the troublemakers are out of the way, all you need is to persuade Gulakhan Han-Ammu to become the Ashkhan of the Erabenimsun. She warns that he may be difficult to persuade. It appears that he lacks three basic attributes of a warrior: strength, courage and wisdom. Talking with Han-Ammu it is obvious he doesn't want the job. To make up for his lack of attributes he will need several magic items you may have collected during your recent massacre: War Axe of Airan Ammu, Sanit-Kil's Heart of Fire, and the Robe of Erur-Dan the Wise. Go and grab these items if you don't already have them. When you come back to him with the items, you get to choose to offer him the items, or just show him. There are three possible outcomes.

  1. If your Speechcraft and his disposition are 50 or higher, show him an item and you'll convince him with just a little speech.
  2. If his disposition is 90 or higher and your Speechcraft is lower than 50, you'll have to give him all three items, but you get to keep the last one discussed. (You can place the one you want to keep on the ground before speaking to him and pick it up after you handed over the other two.)
  3. Otherwise, you'll have to give him all three items.

Named as Nerevarine

Once you give Han-Ammu the three items (and/or make a little speech), you'll persuade him to accept his responsibilities as Ashkhan of the Erabenimsun. He will also agree to name you Nerevarine of the Erabenimsun. Visit Manirai again to receive the tribe's enchanted symbol, The Seizing of the Erabenimsun.

If you've completed all three Houses and four Ashlander Tribes, you can head over to the Temple Canton in Vivec for the next part of the quest.
