Haldriin

Haldriin is a Nord dragon priest who can be found in Skyshroud Barrow, on Bleakrock Isle.

He is encountered during the quest What Waits Beneath, where he asks for your help to stop a necromancer planning to reanimate his corpse. The Dragon Priest will then request that you enter the ruins to defeat the necromancer and sanctify his body.

What Waits Beneath

Haldriin will greet you with: "Maggot. You dare summon me?" Ask for his help in entering the barrow, and he will respond: "Can you comprehend the power I once had? Why should I help you with anything?" Tell him that someone desecrated his shrine, and he will say: "Yes, I can sense them. Some worm defiled this place. You are now my will incarnate, mortal. Enter the barrow and kill this worm." Asking how you can get in will elicit: "You need to ask? Bah! Once, everyone knew the ritual. Three runestones unlock the door. They're placed in prominent positions around the shrine. Find them and put them on their pedestals around the door. Then you'll gain entrance. Now go!" He will appear to you again inside the ruin, saying: "I stand once more at the seat of my power. I am a spectre, a mere shade, forced to watch as a necromancer defiles my body. Kill him."
