                                                           chapter 1

Josh woke with a start as he heard screams down the hall.He slowly crawled out of the stiff wool bed he and his father had made his eyes quickly darting to the door he heard loud pounding footsteps of a man when the room went black.He awoke later with cloth pressed to his face he could see nothing but he could certainly hear.He heard the rumbling of carriage wheels and the squeals of piglets suckling on their mothers milk.Josh wondered what was going on his hands were loosely bound in rope which he quickly removed and he then proceeded to remove the cloth tied around his head and when he could finally see he found himself staring at the cold eyes of his family's Nord servant but something was wrong...there were two large fangs protruding from his mouth.

                                                           chapter 2

Josh's eyes flew wide open as he sat straight up he looked around him but all he could see on account of the only amount of light came from the slowly dimming torch left himself feeling very lightheaded especially when he felt the two large holes in his neck.He tried to scream but all that came out was a gurgle.He ran forward and right into the heavy metal bars that sealed of the rest of the hallway he looked behind him and managed to see a dirty bedroll with a bowl of what looked like porridge he crawled along the ground looking for something...Anything to hint were he was he sat on the bedroll and sobbed until he heard the oddly recognizable thump of footsteps on stone he looked up to see a large imperial man staring at him disapprovingly josh was filled with a strange bloodlust and even stranger thirst the last thing josh remembered of that night was one simple sentence "hello...fledgeling"
