In this article you can find more information regarding the Bruma Test Field glitch. The Bruma Test Field Glitch is a bug in the game which places you in what can be described as an 'Unfinished Oblivion." A tutorial on how to get to the Bruma Test Field (also referred to as the Wilderness, or BrumaTesterMid) can be found here. Glitches under the "Frostcrag Spire Glitch" subheading. If you would like to leave the Bruma Test Field at any time, simply exit the building you are in, (if you are in one) and fast travel to your desired location. I recommend saving your game immediately to avoid some long walks, as we will be heading in many different directions from this test field.

The Mace Of Doom

Once you are in the Bruma Test Field, exit the house you spawn in. There should be a fire surrounded by a circle of houses. Go up to the fire, somewhere on the ground near it you can find a powerful blade called the Mace Of Doom. It is still a mystery why this weapon is classified as a blade, seeing as it has the appearance and name of a mace. This item has very good stats and can one shot almost anything. More details on the item can be found in this article. Oblivion:Unique Items in the "Unique Blades" section.

Unlimited Sigil Stones

When you exit the house that you should have spawned in prior to accessing this glitch, there will be a ring of Bruma styled houses. You are only able to enter three of these said houses. The one to the left is just an ordinary Bruma house. The one to your left however, contains an sigil tower like environment. Enter the left house. It will be very dark, so you may want to cast an illumination spell or nighteye. Once at the top there will be a sigil stone. It is too far away to grab, so you have to make a jump and activate it. Be careful, the drop hurts. Damage can be avoided if you enter the door right before hitting the ground. If you grabbed the stone, look in your inventory. There should be every type of sigil stone available at your current level. You also gain one fame point for each sigil stone added to your inventory. If you would like more sigil stones, keep entering and exiting the house, repeating this process. There is an unlimited amount of sigil stones, just be careful not to become over-encumbered.

Cloud Ruler Temple

There is also a test Cloud Ruler Temple. In the Bruma Test Field, there should be a wall on top of a short hill. Proceed north-east from your original spawning point and there should be a pathway leading up to a test Could Ruler Temple. You can open up the main gate and proceed up the steps. The doors that would normally lead inside the temple are not there, just walls. I have not found anything interesting here, but if you do, let me know so I can add it to this article, or feel free to add it in yourself.

Another Test Town

If you look west from the top of Cloud Ruler Temple you can see some objects sticking out of the ground far in the distance. Head towards them. You should reach some shallow water, it is not deep enough for you to swim in so keep walking. when you reach dry land turn southwest. There should be a large archway. You don't have to go here, there is nothing interesting about it that I have found. Again, if you find anything interesting or worth mentioning about this archway feel free to contact me or edit the article yourself. Head in the general direction of the archway and some buildings will start to spawn in the distance. Head towards them. You should come to a location with four buildings and two unfinished castles. (The second castle can be difficult to spot sometimes, so don't worry if it is not there.) I am not sure what town this is modeled after if any, but more information on particular areas of it can be found below. Save here in case you want to come back.

Renoit's Books

The first building in this area you should come across is a store called Reniot's Books. The door does not work, and I have not found another way inside. If you do please contact me or edit the article yourself.

The Non-Existent House

To the left of Renoit's Books, you should see an ordinary house. Walk towards it. Walk towards the door. You will see that you can pass right through it without pushing any buttons to open anything. Inside there is an unfinished house with no walls. If you wish to leave, walk towards the door again. You should be able to walk through it. Please not you may have to jump to actually reach the door.

Grant's Farmhouse Interior Test

Walk towards the unfinished castle. Along the way you should see some stables. Behind them is a house called Grant's Farmhouse Interior Test. Go inside. You may notice that you are not in the house alone form some odd noises coming from upstairs. Go up there. On the top floor there should be a zombie named ZombieMixnMatch03. He hasn't dropped anything for me when I kill him, but this is a good way to witness the power of the Mace Of Doom. On normal difficulty I was able to kill him in one hit. Try this on higher difficulties if you like and see how many hits he can take. On the bottom floor of the farmhouse, there are also six wine bottles on the floor that you can pick up along with a silver pitcher.

The Unfinished Castle

This section refers to the unfinished castle mentioned earlier. I have not found a way inside or anything interesting about it. If you find anything, once again, contact me or edit the article yourself.

Flying

In this part there is an odd glitch where you can fly. From what should be the main entrance of the unfinished castle, go around its right side. You should spot the second unfinished castle if you didn't before. Continue walking. You should encounter some water. Keep swimming, you should not be able to see the bottom of the water until you have just passed the second castle. The water should also cut off. Keep swimming. Don't worry, you won't fall. Once you pass over the patch of land, you will continue swimming. While you are over this land, you can go as far underwater as you want without having to breathe. Zoom out into third person and it will appear that you are flying. If you touch the bottom, you will start to walk. To get back to the surface simply walk towards the end of the patch of land. You will be underwater when you reach the end of it. Now simply swim upwards and you're back. We are now done with this area, you should have saved in the Bruma Test Field like I warned you, so open that up. If not, have fun walking back.

The Stone Pathway & Look Out Hill

Northeast of the sigil stone house, you should come across what looks like a pathway with stones surrounding it on the left and right side. Walk down it. You will come to a hill with a spiraling walkway leading to the top. Walk up the hill. Once you reach the top there is nothing interesting up there, but it also serves as a good lookout point if you are trying to find more hidden areas off in the distance.

Dewey Decimal

Proceed to the back of Cloud Ruler Temple. Start heading east from there. Prepare for a long walk. You should run into an NPC called Dewey Decimal. Or, if you left from a slightly different spot, there should be what looks like burn marks on the ground. Walk north from them until you see Dewey Decimal. There is nothing special about him, kill him if you want, he drops a set of blades armor and a steel longsword but there's nothing else interesting about him.

Random House

Head northeast of Dewey Decimal. Prepare for another long walk. Keep going and you should come to a house. I have not found any points of interest about it. You know what to do if you find something.

This marks the end of my article. If you find additional areas, please contact me, or edit the article yourself.
