From now on, I'll be using this page to store any Elder Scrolls poetry I come up with, until I find it worthy of it's own place and a place on the fanfiction page.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 03:31, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

This is essentially a free-verse poem about an Altmer Psiijic hero named Ormis of Artaeum. Not really the best work ever, but I found myself in the mood for something like this after picking up Homer's Odyssey again...
I.
- Gather 'round and hearken, my friends,
- To a tale of wonderous acts and deeds.
- A legend of such grandeur is this
- That few live who still know it to be true.
- This humble poet claims not to ever have
- Known the great man in question,
- But the annals of our vast history
- He has come to be know as Ormis of Artaeum.
II.
- "A name is but a name", my father would say,
- And in most cases he's certainly right;
- But the name of Ormis had gained such weight
- That none who live haven't heard it.
- The poets of his time have remained well known,
- Chief among them Syndir of Alinor.
- And it was this poet who wrote first of the man
- Whom we know as Ormis the Shadowslayer.
