This is my Sandbox. I will be testing userboxes here. Feel free to use them.

I know that I could make templates, but I feel that it is easier to customize if they are used this way.

Simple Userbox Instructions

  • This is the basic code for a userbox: {{Userbox|#CCCCFF|#EEEEFF|[[Image:OBHealthIcon_small.png]]|This user likes hearts.}}
  • Note that it is entirely inside of the curly braces. The sections are separated by the vertical line.
  • The first section is simply "Userbox".
  • Next is the color of the border and picture background. Either in code (#CCCCFF) or name (red, mediumpurple, white).
  • Next is the color of the text area background.
  • Next is the picture, using square braces to link. Large images may require an addition of a [[|xx px]] to change the size where xx is the size in pixels. Most images can use 40 px, but larger images may need to be smaller.
  • Last is the text seen in the text section. Normal wiki markup can be used within.
  • Experiment and remember to use the Show Preview feature!
