Shivering:Vitharn Ghost Archer

The Vitharn Ghost Archers are ethereal beings that once served as the secondary defense of the city of Vitharn. When Fanatics attacked the settlement many years ago, the archers failed in their duty and were slaughtered by the attackers. To punish them for their cowardice, Sheogorath cursed them to relive their final moments for all eternity. The archers will be found outside and inside Vitharn. Once you complete the quest Ghosts of Vitharn, they will be released from their curse and disappear.

Of the six archers, four are female and two are male. All archers are part of the Vitharn Citizen faction and the SE32Defenders faction. None have spells apart from an effect which gives them their ghostly look.

Two of the archers are found in the Vitharn Exterior, while the two others are in the Vitharn Reservoir. Two archers wear an almost-complete full set of chainmail armor (missing the boots) while the other two only wear a chainmail cuirass and helmet. All four also carry a patched vest, a pair of breeches, and a pair of rough leather shoes. In combat, they all rely on a fine steel dagger and a fine steel bow complemented by four steel arrows.
