Hardscrabble Camp

Hardscrabble Camp is a campsite east of The Fringe containing Zealots.

Before the related quest, a single Zealot stands sentry. Once the quest is active, however, a Zealot Crusader boss and three followers will appear and head off to Longtooth Camp to try to steal the Fork of Horripilation. If they are successful the leader will return to the camp to stash it in the jewelry box in the higher platform. Once the quest is over, the camp will revert to normal and you will only find the one Zealot.

When taking The Low Road out of the Gates of Madness the campsite will immediately be visible, lying adjacent to the road. The site is made up of two camping platforms that are elevated by stilts. The right-hand-side one contains a minor loot chest and a table with two samples of Grummite Eggs, one sample of Black Tar and three bottles of beer, while another bottle is knocked over on the floor below.

The second platform is accessed by walking up two flights of stairs. There are three bedrolls, one which has a Grummite Dagger beside it, along with a minor loot chest and a table with a jewelry box.
