Predefinição:Editing Allowed/Doc

A UESPWiki – Sua fonte de The Elder Scrolls desde 1995

Summary

In general, it is usual to avoid substantially editing another's user and user talk pages other than where it is likely edits are expected and/or will be helpful. If unsure, ask. If a user asks you not to edit their user pages, it is probably sensible to respect their requests (although a user cannot avoid administrator attention or appropriate project notices and communications by merely demanding their talk page is not posted to).[1]

To expand on this general rule of thumb, this template can be used in a user's userspace to explicitly indicate whether or not other users are invited to contribute to the page. It adds a {{notice}} box to the page that states the page owner's preference for contributions from other users. It also adds a page icon to the page, so that userspace patrollers can quickly check the status of the page.

Full Collaboration

  • By adding {{Editing Allowed}} to your page with no parameters, or adding {{Editing Allowed|all}} to your page, you are giving your permission for other editors to modify the page.
  • It is advisable to watch any page that you add this permission to.

Restricted Collaboration

  • By adding {{Editing Allowed|user|username1, username2, ...}} to your page, you are giving your permission for only the named, specific editors to modify the page.
  • You may format the names in the list using wiki markup, or even use templates such as {{user}}.
  • Anyone else wanting to edit the page should post on the talk page to request the page owner's permission.
  • It is advisable to watch any page, (and its talk page) that you add this permission to.

No Collaboration

  • By adding {{Editing Allowed|default}} to your page, you are indicating that only the user who owns this page is allowed to edit it.
  • A link to the talk page is automatically generated within the {{notice}} box, so keep an eye on the talk page, or add it to your watch list.
