Yanis Berard

Yanis Berard is a Breton pack merchant who runs his stall, Berard's Backpacks, at the Trading Hall of Bleakrock marketplace in Bleakrock Village. His stall can be found next to the bank vault, although he steps out randomly so he may blend in with the crowd at the bank.

When approached, he shares with you a bit of his story: "Some day I'll hawk enough bags to finally get out off this rock. I don't even remember how I got here, but the locals seem tired of me crabbing about the cold—so I should just move on." If you continue your dialogue, he adds, "I don't like the cold so much. So, I keep a bunch of blankets in one of my own bags—after all, I've got bags to share, right?"

He leaves the village after the quest Sparking the Flame.
