The shard of Alanwe

Alanwe was an instructor in the art of adventuring and the wife of Nerien'eth, who was corrupted by Daedra and sentenced her to unending torment in the Crypt of Hearts.

Her husband disliked her affair with another of the teachers and was jealous of her childhood friend and her best student, who criticized his work. Alanwe was forced to watch as each of them were tortured, as her soul was split into three parts.

When her soul is reformed, she swears to stay at the crypt until she can stop her husband.
