Sacred East is the third map released by the Tamriel Rebuilt team. It covers the area south and southwest of Antediluvian Secrets, including the first Indoril territories featured in the mod. The file, called TR_Mainland.esm, contains all of the previously released content including new updates, bug-fixes and quests.

The first public version (v1.0) was released on June 6, 2012. Due to Tamriel Rebuilt's new release process, miscellaneous quests are implemented in this version, although faction quests are not. Notable locations include the holy city of Necrom, the Indoril settlements of Akamora and Sailen, the forbidden ruins of Dun Akafell and the ancient Dunmer fortress of Bisandryon.

Version 1.1 was released to little fanfare on July 7, 2012. This update contained many bugfixes, but no new content. Version 1.2 was released to the public on October 10, 2012 adding five new Fighters Guild quests in Akamora, a new miscellaneous quest in Tel Ouada, balancing changes and the obligatory several hundred bugfixes. The most up-to-date version of the map is Version 1.5 (August 8, 2013), adding new swaths of land to the Lan Orethan and the Nedothril coast including three new settlements (Bosmora, Enamor Dayn, Gorne), at least 9 new quests and various new books (which replace the worst among the old books of Tamriel). Tamriel Rebuilt build v14.08 released on August 31, 2014 added all new updates originally planned for Sacred East 1.6. It added the remainder of Akmora's Guild quests (5 in total), additional new quests for Akamora's Guild of Mages as well as several new miscellaneous quests in Akamora, Dreynim, Gorne, and some in the wilderness. Several new books have been added and some updated. The build also fixed numerous bugs from Sacred East 1.5 release.
