Attrebus

The sixth son of a peasant family from the backwoods of the Colovian West.
At 16, being bored of farm life, he ran away from home to join the Third Legion mustering in nearby Anvil.
He was immediately posted to the capital to help put down the Moth Rebellion, where the legion earned the name "The Faithful" while besieged in the Hesod Barracks by the Cultists.
The proudest moment of his life was when the Third marched with Tiber Septim's honor guard during his triumphal reentry into the capital.
Over the next few years he saw action in every corner of the expanding Empire.
He was wounded during the storming of Tarak Shan.
Nearly lost a leg to an Argonian feather-serpent during the grueling pursuit of Reekee's kidnappers into the depths of Black Marsh in 861.
Is fiercely loyal to his Emperor and has little patience with people who refuse to acknowledge the obvious benefits of the Empire.
Was involved in the 'unofficial' sack of Senchal, claiming to have put thirty catmen to the sword himself.
Was among the few who escaped the Aldmeri trap at Black Rocks.
Spent an uneventful year on garrison duty in the Nibenay Valley.
His company was soon after posted to Hammerfell as the personal guard of Lord Richton.
He'll follow orders and keep a suspicious eye on the locals until his Emperor needs him somewhere else.

Avik, the Snake Charmer

A very friendly, and informative, person.
Can be persuaded to chat for a bit of coin.
Knows quite a bit about the Yokudans found north of town.

Brennan

Captain of the ship that brings Cyrus from Wayrest to Stros M'Kai.

Coyle

Age: 16

Occupation: Yokudan (Gypsy)

The Yokudan youth found in the camp north of town.
Son of Saban and brother to the late Hayle who was murdered by the city guards.
Will not talk to you initially, unless you have found out about Hayle first.
Wishes to join the Restless League.

Crendal

Age: 35-45?
Race: Breton
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Town Drunk

Being the town drunk, Crendal isn't the most useful fellow, other than his humorous songs.
Can be found wandering near the Draggin Tale inn.
You can use your mental talents to trick Crendal into leading you to a quest item later in the game.

Cyrus

Age: 33 (born 2E 831)

Occupation: Mercenary

Cyrus is the protagonist of Redguard, and therefore the player character.
He grew up in Sentinel of Hammerfell before Tiber Septim's expansion.
In a drunken bar brawl he killed his sister's husband and fled Hammerfell.
He meets up with Tobias, a Nord pirate captain and soon became a mercenary for hire.
Cyrus has come to the island of Stros M'Kai in search of his sister, Iszara, who disappeared on the island when the emperor invaded.

Dram

Age: 252 (current incarnation 64, materialized CE612)
Race: Dunmer (Dark Elf)
Place of Birth: Morrowind
Occupation: Exiled Assassin of the Morag Tong, Imperial Emissary

Little is known of Dram, and what is known is shrouded in mystery and deceit.
Is a well known ally of Tiber Septim.
Is currently serving in Cyrodiil, although it is unclear why given the country's historically poor relations with Morrowind.
He worships Sithis, the God of Chaos.
Has been exiled from Morrowind (or the house of Morag Tong?) although no one knows why.
Dram is currently at Stros M'kai helping Provisional Governor Richton root out the last of the Redguard resistance fighters. He is one of the Empires more trusted servants and a deadly assassin.
According to the book Tamrielic Lore, he is said to be holding the Bow of Shadows.

Dreekius

The very informative barkeep of the Draggin Tale inn.
Provides a number of useful tips and other information throughout the game.

Erasmo

Age: 300-400?
Race: Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Observatory Curator

The elderly elf was ordered to fix the Dwarven observatory by Lord Richton.
His legs were burnt by a steam jet while he was attempting to fix things.
He is currently missing just one dwarven gear before the observatory is completely fixed.
He has been driven rather mad by Richton's pressing demands and lack of sleep due to the flashing of the nearby lighthouse at night (which he says are done by ghosts).

These lads can always be found drinking at the Draggin Tale inn. Unfortunately, they seem to be more interested in picking a fight than providing any useful information. Luckily, being completely drunk, they can't actually do you any harm.

Falicia

The young elf studying for a future mage hood.
Always found behind the counter in the mages guild.
Has some useful information about things, including some important quest info and objects at one point.
Sells health, strength, and ironskin potions (25 gold each).

Favis

Favish

Age: 60-70?
Race: Human?
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Bell Tower Caretaker

The slightly deaf caretaker of the town's bell tower, used to signal the approach of incoming ships.
Always found in the bell tower, northeast of the docks before the city wall.
Has some information about the goings on in town.
Complains about the flag-waver Prnell and a 'broken' bell.

Gerrick

Owns the only general store on the island, Gerrick's Goods, in the west end of town near the garden.
Sells a number of useful, and required, items for a reasonable price.
Has a fair bit of information to supply.
His parrot can be persuaded to give the directions to a large stash of gold.

The myriads of guards roaming around town and elsewhere are there only to enforce the 'peace', and not for conversation.

The very untalktive archmage of Stros M'Kai.
Succeeded the previous archmage, Voa, when he was slain in the last battle between the crowns and the imperials.
Currently studying for the Battlespire, an elite college of mages where the shadow legion trains, located between the planes of Oblivion and Nirn.
Confronted at one point by Cyrus turns him into a gremlin.

Kotaro

The man you'd see if you needed a job done, or were looking for work to do.
Found down near the docks for most of the game.
Offers you a well paid job of delivering an amulet to Lord Richton.

Krisandra

Occupation: Silversmith Shop Owner

Owns and runs the Silversmith shop in the west side of town.
Has a good deal of useful information, including some quest stuff.
Is used at one point in locating the flask of Lillandril.
Does not actually sell anything to you.

Lakene

Age: 30-40?
Race: Redguard
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Fix-It Man

The town's fix-it man who holds a little information about the goings on in the town.
Can be found on the east side of town, trying to fix a wagon.
Complains about someone named Rollo 'stealing' his wife's silver locket.
Is used to gain entrance into the restless league at one point.

Maiko

Race: Human
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Cartographer (Map-Maker)

The town's slightly eccentric map maker.
Can always be found in the map maker's shop in the southeast side of town.
You receive a quest item from him at one point.
Doesn't reveal very much of what happens around town.

Mariah

A local citizen who has a good bit of information to supply.
Can be found in between the mages guild and temple of Arkay.
Has won the 'Most Annoying Voice' award 5 years running.
Knows a little about of the disappearance of brother Kithral.

Nidal

The only priest in town. He is always found at the Temple of Arkay in the south end of town.
Knows quite a bit about the goings on in town.
Mentions the disappearance of brother Kithral a few months ago.

N'Gasta

Sload necromancer, lives on the Isle of N'Gasta.

Pirates

There are a number of pirates and other people roaming about the island, who seem to have no interest or desire to converse with you. They appear to serve no practical purpose other than walking scenery.

Prnell

The town's slightly blind telescope operator for spotting incoming ships. When a ship is spotted he waves a red flag to signal the bell tower operator (currently Favish) to ring the bell.
Found in the top floor of the harbor tower accessed via the tower bridge.
Has recently lost his monocle eyepiece.
Knowns a good deal about the happenings in town and the disappearance of your sister.

Admiral Lord Amiel Richton

Age: 48
Race: Cyrodilic

Occupation: Admiral of the Imperial New West Navy, Provisional Governor of Stros M'kai

Richton has been a faithful servant of the Empire since Cuhlecian, before Tiber Septim.
He belongs to a minor noble family from the Colovian West, near the Strid, which supported Cuhlecain when he began his bid for the throne.
He quickly distinguished himself as quite competent at sea battles during the campaign against the pirates of the Abecean Sea.
He commanded a squadron in the Battle of the Bjoulsae where Wayrest's naval power was crushed in a surprise dawn attack.
He succeeded Vasi Hadrach as Admiral upon that officer's assassination at the hands of rebel Reachmen in a brothel in Daggerfall.
His crowning achievement, though, came during the invasion of Hammerfell, where he led the New West Navy to victory over Prince A'tor's fleet in the Battle of Hunding Bay.
Following this, Tiber Septim appointed Richton as Provisional Governor of Stros M'kai, which became one of the chief supply ports of the New West Navy.
Lord Richton's current orders are to clear the waters of pirates and to guard the strategic Cape of the Blue Divide against the fleets of the hostile Aldmeri Dominion to the south.

Rollo

A local citizen who works on the docks, loading and uploading ships.
Can only be found around town and by the docks when ships are arriving or leaving. Otherwise, he is in his house near the Draggin Tale.
Will not talk to you.

Siona

Age: 20-30?
Race: Redguard?
Place of Birth: unknown
Occupation: Working Girl

Probably one of the first friendly faces you'll meet in town, down by the docks.
Gives out a little basic information, and directions to the Draggin Tale where your friend Tobias is waiting.

S'Rathra

Age: 66 (born 2E 798)
Race: Khajiit (breed suthay-raht)
Place of Birth: Elsweyr (Anequina)
Occupation: Crime Boss

Grew up among Khajiit with the violent nomad cats of the Ne-Quin'al plains.
Was lamed at the massacre of Stoop Low and left for Anaquina to prevent his tribe from being shamed. Eventually ended up in Pellitine to the south.
He ran a lucrative skooma trade out of Senchal port, smuggling sugar into the Empire, and, unfortunately, became an addict himself.
When Cyrodiil strengthened its presence in the Topal Bay, S'rathra left Elsweyr entirely.
He has currently made Wayrest his port of late, playing the lesser lords of High Rock to his benefit.
Cyrus and S'rathra have long shared a mutually beneficial relationship- the catman finds the paying parties and the Redguard does the dirty work.
He provides the money and transport necessary for Cyrus to reach Stros M'kai when he hears that Cyrus's sister is missing.
You don't actually meet him in the game, but he is mentioned a few times in your conversation with Tobias.

Tobias

Age: 57 (born 2E 807)
Race: Cyro-Nordic
Place of Birth: Cyrodiil (Colovian West)
Occupation: Merchant

Tobias was born in the Colovian West, near the battlefield of Sancre Tor.
He grew up hearing stories of the 'Fair Skyrim' and, as soon as he could, travelled to Haafingar to serve as a marine.
Eventually he deserted and became a smuggler in the area of the Iliac Bay.
At Sentinel, he met our adventurer Cyrus and took him in (Cyrus just having killed his sister's husband).
The two traveled together until the Raid on Tear where they separated.
He and Cyrus still keep in touch with a mutual friend, a Khajiit named S'ratha.
Cyrus receives a letter from Tobias which leads him to the island of Stros M'Kai, where Tobias currently resides.

Trithik

A local sailor who knows a little of what's going on in town.
Can be found at any time wandering near the docks.
Is the town expert on the flask of Lillandril. You receive a required quest item from him at one point.
His boat, currently requiring fixing by Lakene, is down by the docks.
