If you were prevented from creating a new page on UESP, but believe that the page is one that should be created, you can place a request here.

Only anonymous editors are prevented from creating new articles on the site.

Note that it is only necessary to use this page if you were prevented from creating the page yourself.

Requested Pages

Please type the name of the page that needs to be created below. A UESP editor will then create the page and update this page accordingly -- or provide a link to an existing page on the same topic. Before adding a request here use the search feature to make sure the page does not already exist. We already have several thousand articles for each game.

If you are not willing to first create a draft of the new article, then do not post a request here.

Skyblivion mod: strider

go back to the elder iv oblivion with skyrim texter with the skybliivion mod which is a skyrim mod. not to be confused with the skywind mod which is a differrent skyrim mod. — Unsigned comment by 173.184.188.74 (talk) at 14:29 on 24 March 2016

Before we start documenting mods for Skyblivion, I think we need to actually be documenting Skyblivion itself. But that's another discussion. --Enodoc (talk) 15:00, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Morrowind: NPC Bodcan

I was exploring in the ruins near Ashalmawia, In the ruins was a dark skinned man in red robes called Bodcan. I killed him and wanted to see his wiki page. Alas there isn't any.

You mean Bodean? —Legoless (talk) 15:39, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

Daggerfall:Disintegrate

Please, someone help. I do not understand how does the spell "disintegrate" works nor what is the chance for it to succeed. 85.222.170.180, October 7th 2015

Lore:Keystone

What the heck is a keystone? 24.79.74.133 19:20, 1 February 2015 (GMT)

I started work on a Lore:Keystones pages here, although I kind of gave up on it. I'll try to get back to it and finish it off soonish though. —Legoless (talk) 23:12, 1 February 2015 (GMT)

Oblivion:Rumors

I think there should be a page of all the rumors in Oblivion. There was one for the loading screens, so why not rumors? — Unsigned comment by 70.173.32.57 (talk) at 20:15 on 25 April 2015 (GMT)

Seconded. Pages for generic dialogue would be great to have. —Legoless (talk) 22:56, 25 April 2015 (GMT)
Thirded. -damon  talkcontribs 01:19, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
Oblivion: I am willing to help with this page, if somebody gives me a hint how to extract it from the game data.
ESO: I was thinking about creating generic dialogue page for ESO a couple days ago. I found a huge chunk of "rumors" in the game data, although it will need a lot of sorting by zones and quests, I think. Will it?
Skyrim: Naturally, I decided to take a look at the layout of such pages in Oblivion and Skyrim namespaces and found only Quill-Tail's sandbox, which, in my opinion, is ready to be published. Isn't it?
 ~Shuryard (talk) 03:01, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
(edit conflict) I think it's a good idea since a lot of the rumors from the game will never be documented on any pages. In contrast though, many rumors about the characters located in the game and the quests you complete are already on their respective NPC and quest pages. This could lead to some redundancy as plenty of rumors would be repeated for a third time now, such as the rumors about Rohssan seen on both her page and also on A Fighting Chance's page. So I personally think it would be best for the page to stick to (at least initially) the more generic rumors, such as this, along with some of the more generic conversation dialogue, like this that would only ever be documented on a rumors or generic dialogue page. Forfeit (talk) 03:11, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
It's true that the OBNPCRP considers NPC-related rumors to be within the scope of the related NPC pages, but I think a little redundancy is alright for the sake of a complete list. We should definitely have a page for the 'wilderness' rumors at least. That Skyrim sandbox also looks great. As for ESO, what kind of rumors are there? I was under the impression that a lot of spoken dialogue was without subtitles. —Legoless (talk) 18:57, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
That's a good point. Given that the page is going to be a comprehensive list of rumors, it probably would make more sense (and probably be simpler) to just list all the rumors, ignoring any redundancy. I also agree that Quill-Tail's sandbox for generic dialogue looks good enough to launch, even if it's not entirely complete yet. Moving it into the Skyrim namespace will make it more visible to other contributors which will help the page reach completion anyways. Forfeit (talk) 19:59, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

() ESO: Yes, as far as I know, none of the spoken dialogue is subtitled, we still have the text in our mined data though. Those "rumors" are NPCs' reactions on the quest completion, e.g.,

  • "If rumors are to be believed, you saved King Emeric's life. Quite an honor!"
  • "Throne Keeper Farvad says you are Tu'whacca's champion. I hope it is true."
  • "I heard some Redguard woman turned her husband into a dog! Imagine that!"
  • "That Argonian traitor should have been put to the blade. Guildmaster at-Aswala is kinder than I'd have been!"

The list of such reactions, as least those I was able to find so far, is here. It will take some time and effort, but I was thinking it would be great to have them sorted by zone with references to corresponding quests. Wouldn't it? :)  ~Shuryard (talk) 21:19, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

Definitely. I'm happily surprised the text is so easily available. —Legoless (talk) 21:23, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

Skyrim:Time

I am willing to help if able (semi-limited as I am using 360--no access to game files--and don't know how to code), but a page concerning the passage of time, as well as which effects are using which time scale:

  • Divine Blessings are 8 or 11 hour (subject to necromage) real-time hours

==>Calculated from in-game time passed (when fast traveling/waiting)

  • Blood of the Ancients lasts for (x) in-game days
  • Potion effects and familiar summons are calculated using real-time

==>Also calculated using in-game time as "Slow Time shout" effects potion timers

There is a page for Oblivion, but not one for Skyrim and the information is off.

  • Oblivion day start/end is 6am/8pm (taken from 'Oblivion:Time' page)
  • Skyrim day start/end is 5am/7pm

Are time scales still the same (where 2 seconds real-time is 1 minute game-time)? Would also be handy to have a small table calculating in game hours, days, weeks to real time, as well as "real time" passed when waiting/sleeping in-game. Possibly also time used for fast travel (takes x time per y distance)?

Finally, there are a few effects which also effect time, such as the aforementioned shout (3 different magnitudes and durations; one for each word) as well as Vampire Lord's Supernatural Reflexes power. The alteration perk 'Stability' also seems to have an effect on some aspects of time, if nothing more than extending timers or the duration of the Slow Time shout, etc.

Differences between ESO and previous games

As a brand-new player to ESO, and also a newcomer to MMORPG in general, I have been searching the site for something that would serve as a good intro and outline what to expect after Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I have found all the specifics I expect from the UESP, but what I had hoped to find here, as it was for the first three in "Differences between ..." is a page that helps bridge the differences between this new gaming experience in ESO, and all the games that came before. I would be willing to help out if, as an FNG, I have anything of value to contribute. I fear that there may be some veteran editors here who aspire to adhere completely to the encyclopedic style and might think it was not worth the effort to add a page that is not strictly along that style, but I feel, as a longtime user of the UESP, that what made it great for me was the information provided in that encyclopedic, high-standards style IN CONJUNCTION WITH the less formal pages that could add a little fun, or a little trivia, or just that basic information that made gameplay that bit more understandable for those who are not yet comfortable in their grasp of the way the machine runs as a whole. I think the page I'm requesting could be the difference between easing into a game and having the patience and faith to keep at it until it becomes comfortable, and giving up because it it so vastly different from what we have had from TES before. To be honest, I HATE ESO right now. Only Dark Souls has made me feel the same level of love and frustration for a game at outset. If we could create a page to make the transition a little less of a shock, it would, I think, reflect well on the site, and I know I cannot be the only person to wish for it in beginning ESO. Thanks, Crayolamanic (talk) 01:31, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

Personally I can't see the practical purpose of such a page. ESO is a completely different style of game, meaning the neatly grouped differences on this page really don't apply. TES3, 4 and 5 are all singleplayer RPGs with very similar gameplay; ESO is an MMO, with the full weight of that genre behind it. It can't be directly compared to the main series. What I'd propose instead would be a 'Starting Out' article of some kind, explaining the game to new players without any mention of the older games, to avoid spreading further the misconception that ESO is Skyrim 2. —Legoless (talk) 01:43, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, Legoless, for the quick reply. However you think it would work best, I would be happy to lend a hand, as I said. I can see your point, and as I was sort of expecting a flat dismissal, I am glad that there is some willingness to make an attempt at addressing bridging the gap. Let me know what you would like to do and what I could do to contribute. Anything I may not be able to tackle on my own, I will happily work with any willing editors on, and I think JR will likely give some help here and there with technical stuff; he has offered this kind of distant assistance not long ago. Just give me any direction you can think of, and I will get on it. I'm not wiki-proficient, and new to ESO, but have an aptitude for content writing and editing. Crayolamanic (talk) 23:27, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
Well, you could start by sandboxing some of the difficulties you run into as a newcomer to MMOs, and then maybe an ESO vet could come along and give some tips for starting out? —Legoless (talk) 00:03, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Completed Requests

Online:Familiars

We need a page distinct from Online:Pets for listing summoned creatures. As far as I'm aware, this should consist of the 7(?) creatures from Daedric Summoning and the Dwarven spheres from a certain Veteran monster mask. I don't have the exact names of the creatures or I'd do it myself. —Legoless (talk) 15:08, 18 April 2015 (GMT)

Ius the Animal God

So I found something from Daggerfall that expands on Ius the Animal God, who can be found under the "Dieties" section of UESP listed right here. His article is short but I think a new page is required. Go right here for what I found. November 29 2015 — Unsigned comment by Twilot spankle (talkcontribs) at 19:57 on 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Are you talking about the book? It already has an article. —Legoless (talk) 20:41, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
Oh Dear, I apologize, I had no idea it was a book, and that the book was on here already. My apologies. Go ahead and delete this, however it is you do that. I'm still quite new to editing here — Unsigned comment by Twilot spankle (talkcontribs) at 20:51 on 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Leprechaun

This page doesn't exists. Appears to be exististing in wikipedia. The two first phrases are the following :

A leprechaun (Irish: leipreachán) is a type of fairy in Irish folklore. It is usually depicted as a little old man, wearing a coat and hat, who partakes in mischief.
Gerardgiraud (talk) 08:38, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

There are no leprechauns in TES. —Legoless (talk) 18:34, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Oblivion:Swampy Cave Dry Rock Run

(edited) I tried to create this page as a redirect to Oblivion:Swampy Cave, as there is a dead-end link on the Oblivion Map (here) directly to that particular cell, but it failed due to matching a blacklist filter, apparently. Either the redirect Oblivion:Swampy Cave Dry Rock Run needs to be created or the map link needs to be piped somehow (not sure how to do the latter). --Fru1tbat (talk) 18:26, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

Done, good catch. —Legoless (talk) 19:39, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

place of intrest, Knights of the Thorn Lodge

I noticed this place outside of cheydinhal on my way to a db party, and now its bugging me, the place is a small manor, restricted entry, and little outsiden hints of it. Please get some info on it. — Unsigned comment by 66.87.69.12 (talk) at 22:16 on 24 June 2015

The page already exists, OB:Knights of the Thorn Headquarters. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 21:28, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Online:Inventory (or something similar)

The inventory system of ESO is substantially different to what TES fans are used to, so I think it would be helpful if someone fully familiar with the systems could make a page explaining how it works. What types of items take up a slot and what don't, methods of increasing your "bag size", the penalty to maxing out your inventory, links to the Pack Merchants and Banks pages, that kind of thing. It probably wouldn't set any records for length, but I think it would be of great utility to beginners and vets alike to consolidate what is known on one page. We have Morrowind:Encumbrance, Oblivion:Encumbrance, and Skyrim:Carry Weight, but we don't seem to have a corresponding page for the Online namespace yet. I would draft a page, but I only have first-hand knowledge of the game from beta. Insignificant RevisionsThreatsEvidence 16:26, 21 March 2015 (GMT)

I've made a quick draft here. It's pretty barebones, so I'll leave it to someone else to create the page or not. —Legoless (talk) 17:50, 21 March 2015 (GMT)
I think that's an excellent starting point. I'd add that books, like pets, aren't factored into the inventory. Insignificant RevisionsThreatsEvidence 21:24, 21 March 2015 (GMT)
(edit conflict) I would say that the inventory did not change significantly since beta. If you draft a page, I can help with bringing info up-to-date and also supply images (e.g., 1, 2, 3).   ~Shuryard (talk) 17:51, 21 March 2015 (GMT)
Lego: Just wanted to check whether that draft is ready to go; I don't want to create the page if you're still tinkering with it. If so, we could create the page with it as a base, and then maybe Shuryard and I can pad it out a bit. --Enodoc (talk) 11:32, 23 March 2015 (GMT)
Yep I'm done with that. —Legoless (talk) 22:51, 23 March 2015 (GMT)
OK cool. I've started the page.    :)   --Enodoc (talk) 23:36, 23 March 2015 (GMT)

Online:Scion of the Blood Matron

This is the quest to become a vampire in Online. It needs it's own page. — Unsigned comment by Harrow (talkcontribs) on 00:05 17 July 2014

Done. —<({QT>> 02:44, 17 July 2014 (GMT)

Lore:Glossary

I think it would be good to have a quick, not game-specific glossary of terms used throughout the series. It would be fun to make and give new players a sort of quick-start guide to ES lore. Thanks!

StandardIssue— Unsigned comment by StandardIssue (talkcontribs) at 01:53 on 18 November 2014

The main issue I see with that is just how difficult it would be. I mean, there are thousands of words and a lot of them describe the same exact thing. If you think it would be fun to make, feel free to start it and I'm sure people (Me at least) would help you along with it! :) ~ Ad intellige (talk) 02:33, 18 November 2014 (GMT)
Once upon a time a long, long time ago (before my time), there was a Dictionary section, but it was put through a deletion review and then deleted. Looking at the argument presented by Elliot when he proposed the deletion of the articles, I am in complete agreement. The contents of a dictionary/glossary section would be entirely redundant with what we have elsewhere, and listing terms just for the sake of listing terms is unnecessary. So, I would think that this is something that shouldn't be created. -damon  talkcontribs 02:50, 18 November 2014 (GMT)
Hmmm... I didn't see that. I am definitely in complete agreement though. It is redundant and if someone wants to know more about ES Lore, they can read the in game books, read the online copies of the books here, or use the search function to find a specific topic. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 02:57, 18 November 2014 (GMT)

Creating Pages

If you are creating a new Online article in response to a request made on this page, first check whether a talk page has been created. If appropriate, you may want to simply move the talk page to the article; otherwise, you may want to copy and paste content from the talk page.

If you have no other information to add to the article, simply add the following content:

{{Trail}}{{Empty}}

If possible, provide a more complete trail, e.g., {{Trail|Creatures}} on an article about a creature. Also, try to add a link to the new article on the appropriate parent article, for example, add the new article to Online:Creatures.
