Notes

The sizes (small, medium or large) of Ayleid Ruins, Forts, Mines and Caves are related to the number of zones they contain as follows:

  • Small: One zone
  • Medium: Two or three zones
  • Large: Four or more zones

A few mines are just caverns with some timber framing — they have nothing "mine-related" in them. Most mines have a few silver ore veins. There are no mines anywhere that drop gems or any other kind of special stones.

When you explore a mine, it is easiest to spot ore veins by torchlight (and don't forget to look up!).
