Detailed Walkthrough

Quest Offer

Once you turned into a vampire you may get a letter by a pale young boy which says:

(building)
(town)
My Dear (player's name),
Perhaps you remember a warrior you met once, (vampire spawn's name)? Taut, succulent, slightly thin-blooded, but all in all, a memorable meal. Well, (he/she)'s back from the grave now. (vampire bloodline) have rather mixed emotions about your progeny's existence. Come see me and we'll discuss it.
Yours in Death,
(vampire NPC)

Quest Object

Head to the town mentioned in the letter and meet the vampire NPC. He/she will tell you that one of your former victims has risen from the grave and turned into a vampire him/herself. However, the elders of your bloodline wish his/her demise since he/she doesn't behave appropriately for a member of your noble bloodline but rather like a wild beast. If you accept this task, you will be told of the dungeon where your vampire spawn can be found. Travel to this dungeon and find the vampire within it.

When you hit the vampire he/she will say:

Better not spare that rod, my parent. You'll spoil me.

or

I know you. You were the last face I saw, smeared with the blood of my body. Come, my dear creator, let us embrace.

or

Your face is the face of my nightmare, (player's name). You are the one who cursed me to this life, aren't you?

Once you destroy the vampire, you will get a notification that the deed is done. Report back to the vampire NPC and collect your reward—a magical item—from him/her.

Quest Object Dead

When the vampire dies for good, following message pos up:

(vampire spawn's name) dies at last a true death. You must return to tell (vampire NPC) that the deed is done.

Quest End

When you report back to the vampire NPC, after your vampire spawn has been put to rest for good, he/she will say:

Is that a hint of sorrow on your brow, (player's first name)? I quite understand. I have on more than on occasion had to slay an offspring of mine. You must try to rise above this mawkish mortal regard for propagation. What you have had to do is lamentable, but you must chill your blood to truly become one of (vampire bloodline). You have made a step toward that, for which you deserve congratulations.
